Atlantida is a magnificent location that is but forty five kilometers away from the lovely, Montevideo. There is a main swimming resort which is situated in the Department of Canelones.
Usually chosen by tourists in Uruguay are the magnificent beaches of this glorious place which has an abundance of pine trees as well as eucalyptus trees beautifying the area and really making Atlantida stand out.
The weather is simply benign, as described by some, and it is invitingly serene. The natural beauty of Atantida can attribute to its title of 'capital of the golden coast.'
